RAFFLE RULES & DISCLOSURES

  • Thank you for supporting Shady Pines Radio! Every $10 contributed to our February Fun Raiser earns you 1 entry (also known as one “Pinecoin”) to the raffle of your choice.

  • Donations and raffle purchases are both made the same way—using the payment methods listed in the Donate section of the Fun Raiser page.

​

  • To enter the raffle, you must fill out the Prize Portal form after donating. This is what identifies your payment as a raffle ticket purchase instead of a donation. The deadline to fill out this form is February 27 at 2pm PST.

  • Raffle ticket purchases ("Pinecoins") ARE NOT tax deductible, while donations ARE tax deductible within the law. Shady Pines Radio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN # 88-4221105.

  • Raffle drawings will take place remotely on February 28 at Shady Pines Radio Headquarters using an online random name picker—wheelofnames.com.
     

  • Participants list their raffle top prize preferences on the Prize Portal form. If your name is picked, you will win the prize highest available on your list that has not already been won by an earlier winner.
     

  • If your name is drawn and none of your selected top prizes are available, a random prize will be chosen from the remaining pool. We may exercise discretion when assigning the randomly selected prize. For example, if the winner is not local or available to pick up their prize, and their chosen prize is large or difficult to ship, we may select an alternate prize at random.
     

  • The more Pinecoins a raffle entrant has, the more likely they are to be picked, and the more likely they are to win a top prize on their list if they are picked. However, raffle entrants can only win 1 prize per raffle. There are 3 raffles, so it's possible for one entrant to win up to 3 prizes, if they are selected in more than one raffle.

  • Winners will be notified by email within one week of the raffle drawings.

  • Winners have five days from the date they receive email notification of their win to respond and claim their prize. Prizes cannot be held indefinitely—if a winner does not arrange a shipment or delivery plan by March 15, the prize will be considered forfeited and repurposed.
     

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old at time of purchase.
     

  • Participation is open to Oregon and U.S. residents where permitted by law. Participants are responsible for complying with local regulations. Shady Pines Radio may disqualify entries from states where raffles are prohibited and is not liable for any legal issues arising from participation.
     

  • Drawings will be livestreamed on Shady Pines Radio's YouTube channel:

    • First raffle: February 28 at 7:00 PM PST

    • Second raffle: February 28 at 8:00 PM PST (or earlier)

    • Third raffle: February 28 at 9:00 PM PST (or earlier)
      *Note: These times are approximations. The three raffles will be held in order starting at 7:00 PM PST. Raffles 2 and 3 may begin earlier or later than their listed times, so they won't necessarily start exactly at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Tune in on YouTube at 7pm to catch them all!
       

  • Each raffle will be capped at 1,000 entries ($10,000). Donation matches do not count toward this limit.
     

  • The retail value of each prize is disclosed on the Prizes section of the Fun Raiser page.
