This festival takes place on the unceded ancestral lands of the Clackamas and Cascade Chinook (Watlala) people, bands of the Upper Chinook.

These communities have cared for this land for generations and continue to thrive as members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, and other Tribal nations.

We honor their enduring presence and invite you to reflect on the history of this place, and your connection to it, as we gather in celebration.
